WELCOME & SERVICES

Welcome to Kimba Uniting Church.

We have a heart for serving God and our neighbours so people may see the hope we have. You are welcome to join in worship or visit if travelling through Kimba.

Sunday services of worship are held weekly at 10.00am. We celebrate with Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month, worship leadership is shared and learning opportunities are provided for younger attenders.

Our congregation is conservative, evangelical with an active, healthy membership comprising of people of all ages. So we welcome you to join with us in our community. We are part of the Uniting Church SA Western Mission Network.

ACTIVITIES

FELLOWSHIP

ADULT FELLOWSHIP: Meetings are arranged for the second Tuesday within homes or visits to learn and share socially. There is an interest in wider ministries with support of events and monies.

STUDY FELLOWSHIP: Members of our congregation meet weekly on Thursday at 10.00am to share in the Bible and study of social issues of today. These are held in private homes. Evening studies are held in short series at seasonal times.

SHEDMEN

While our Combined Churches Shedmen still meets sporadically, there is an active Kimba Men’s Shed located at the Kimba Recreation Reserve where anyone is welcome to drop in and share a story and a cuppa.

OP SHOP

The popular Kimba Uniting Church Op Shop is situated at 48 High Street, and has support from the community. Items for sale are pre-loved clothing, shoes, accessories, books and toys.

Our Op Shop is open Monday to Friday from 10.00am – 3.00pm.
